Amanda Loughner

I graduated from CTA as a Therapeutic Massage Therapist in 2001. Through the years, I have enjoyed helping clients who suffer from chronic pain and special conditions. In 2014, I became a Certified Lash Technician and I love how extensions can enhance a client's natural beauty. Since having my little dumpling, Levi, in 2016 I have drastically cut back on the appointments I take but am still thrilled to help out with clients when needed. 

 

I started Loughner Massage & Lash Boutique July of 2009 after renting a small room for many years. We have grown from a studio that just offered massage, to a Day Spa that now offers facials, waxing, eyelash extensions, lash lifts, spray tanning, and more! And I am sure we are not done adding to that list. I can't wait to see where the next 10 years takes us!

Meghan Rice

Whether it is for relaxation or to overcome muscular discomfort, Meghan is dedicated to helping her clients. Meghan is a 2006 graduate of the Western School of Health and Business. In July 2006 she began her externship at a Spa and from there secured a position working alongside Dr. John Tramontina, D.C. as his lead Massage Therapist for six years.She joined Loughner Massage & Lash Boutique in July of 2013 and has worked part time here since. 

 

Meghan customizes her client's experience to suit their individual needs, whether that be soothing light pressure, or deep tissue. Meghan's nurturing and intuitive nature helps clients relax, while still being able to work on sore and painful muscles.  She enjoys helping people feel their best and it truly shows in her therapy. When she isn't in session with a client, she is behind the scenes as our office manager.

Tammy Luffy

During Tammy's 25 years in the field, she has trained in various modalities including: Medi-Cupping, Kenesio Taping, Reflexology, Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), Microcurrent Point Stimulation, and Vibrational Therapies. She is currently the only Biomagnetic Pair practitioner in Pittsburgh and completed the Integrative Institute of Nutrition's holistic counseling program. Tammy has had the pleasure of working in various venues including UPMC hospital, corporations, multiple professional sports teams, chiropractors, and her own clinic in Florida. She is currently studying Ear Seed application to enable clients to self-treat and stimulate acupressure points themselves. During all of those years in this field, the urge to assist clients through their health challenges and pain syndromes keeps Tammy always searching for tools that work!

Shelley Gold

Shelley has over 15 years with a physical therapy background and a specialization in Neuromuscular massage and Pregnancy massage. Shelley is also a licensed Cosmetology teacher, specializing in skin care.  Her services include Skin Script facials, all natural facials, oxygen facials, full body waxing, and eyelash lifts and tints.

Nena Boax

Nena has been with Loughner Massage and Lash Boutique since 2014. She has been a Licensed Massage Therapist since 1986 and she continues to learn more about massage therapy throughout each year.

Lexi Briggs

Lexi attended the Douglas Education Center for Esthetics. She specializes in Skin Script Facials, Oxygen Facials, Eyelash Extensions, Eyelash Lifts and Tints, and Microblading. Whenever she isn't working, she loves to garden and spend time with her pets Buddha and Binx.

Jessica Hessom

Our wonderful Jess became a licensed esthetician after graduating from the Fountain of Youth Academy of Cosmetology in 2021. She is currently trained in Full Eyelash Extensions, Lash Lifts/ Tints, Teeth Whitening, Spray Tanning, Serenity Scrubs, Signature Facials, Oxygen Facials, Dermaplaning, Chemical Facials, and Jade Gua Sha Facials. In her free time, she loves to spend time with her two kiddos!

Bree Burke

Bree is an amazing, licensed cosmetologist who graduated from Bella Capelli in August of 2021. She also obtained her Lash Certificate through Dulce Lash Artistry the same year and has been with us ever since! Her services include: Full Lash Extensions, Lash Lifts/Tints, Facials, Facial Waxing, and Spray Tanning. When she is not in the studio, she enjoys spending time with her family and hanging out with her new puppy, Oskar.

Gabrielle Buckstein

Gabby has been a Licensed Esthetician since 2019. She attended North Hills Beauty Academy and found a passion for Lash Extensions after graduation and has been doing lashes for over 4 years now. The services she currently offers include: Full Lash Extensions, Lash Lifts/Tints, Brow Lamination's/Tints, Facials, Waxing, Hair Shimmers & Cryo-Therapy. As time goes on, she is excited to learn more services to provide to her clients. When she’s not at the studio, she enjoys spending time with her family & listening to true crime/spooky podcasts.

Kylie Zimmerman

Kylie is a Licensed Esthetician coming to us with over 2 years of experience. While Kylie is also experienced in skin care, waxing, and other beauty services, she will be fully concentrating on our Lash and Brow Services at the moment.  Born and raised in Wisconsin, she moved to Maine at the end of 2020 and completed her Esthetics license at Spa Tech Institute of Westbrook.  She came to Pittsburgh in September of 2021 to the Mac Miller memorial and fell in love with the city.  Shortly after graduating, her and her fiance decided to move from Maine to Pittsburgh in the fall of 2022. She has loved every minute of being here in Pittsburgh and is so excited to be part of the Loughner Team.  When Kylie isn't at the studio doing what she loves, she is spending her free time listening to Mac Miller and enjoying life with her fiance and 2 kitty cats.
