Rapid 1 Hour Processing Add On.

 

Creates the same end result with the ability to shower in as little as one hour by using a Rapid Rinse formula. 1 hour is recommended for a lighter color, 2 hours for a medium color, and 3 hours for a deep color. (Extending the duration longer than 3-hours is NOT recommended.)

                                                      Getting Ready for Your Spray Tan:

​

• Exfoliate thoroughly at least 24 hours before appointment for best tanning results.

• Shave at least 24 hours before your appointment. Shaving too soon before your spray tan leaves your pores open and leads to an uneven tan.

• Do all waxing at least 48 hours prior to appointment.

• Do not wear any oils, lotions, or makeup to your appointment.

• Avoid using soaps such as Dove and Olay as they contain oils that leave a residue and create a barrier on your skin.

• Do not wear deodorant to your appointment.

• Wear lose fitting, preferably dark clothing to your appointment.

• Avoid wearing tight undergarments that will rub against your skin before your tan full processes.

• If you've recently had a stay at the hospital, make sure to scrub off any adhesive from monitors or IV tape prior to your appointment.

 

                                                                                 After Care:

​

• Our Standard Venetian Tan:  This tan has a 12–24-hour processing time meaning you cannot get wet, sweat, or shower for at least 12 hours. You can do a warm rinse at 12 hours if you choose, but 24 hours is recommended for optimal results. When you do shower, use a warm rinse with soap only on the "hot spots".  Do not panic when you see a lot of your color washing off. This is just the bronzer, and your tan is still developing underneath. After 24 hours you may take a regular shower but avoid using abrasive wash cloths and loofahs and soaps with heavy oils and fragrance. Shaving and exfoliation should also be avoided.

• Our Rapid Tan: This tan has a 1–3-hour processing time depending on your desired color: 

• 1 hour = light 2 hours= medium 3 hours = dark

• Do a warm rinse after 1-3 hours using soap only on "hot spots."

• A regular shower with soap can be taken after 24 hours. Just like our Venetian tan, you will want to avoid abrasive loofahs and soaps with heavy oils and fragrances. 

• After the 12-24 hour processing time (or 1-3 hours for rapid), use lotion at least 2 times a day to stay moisturized. Find a lotion/cream without alcohol and oils in it to prevent drying out your skin. The more hydrated your skin, the longer your tan will last!

• Avoid chlorinated pools for 18 hours. Chlorine and swimming will affect the retention of your tan.

• Avoid using soaps such as Dove and Olay, along with any products that contain heavy oils or alcohols. These will strip your tan. 

• Avoid spraying perfume and body sprays directly onto your skin.

• Spray tans normally last 7-10 days depending on your lifestyle. Excessive sweating, more than one shower a day, exfoliation, and frequent shaving will cause your tan to fade quicker.

 The results of your spray tan strongly depend on the prep and aftercare steps you take before and after your spray tan. Failure to follow these steps can result in a tan that is splotchy, uneven, and doesn't last the full 7-10 days.
